Overview

Sometimes a checkbox or a short answer isn’t enough. Oriyent allows you to attach media and comments to any inspection form — helping you document issues, clarify site conditions, or store relevant files like manuals and certificates.

Attachments can be made directly in the form using drag-and-drop or your device’s file picker.

What You’ll Need

  • An active Oriyent account

  • A form with attachment fields enabled

  • Access to your device’s file system or camera

  • (Optional) Required file formats: JPG, PNG, PDF, MP4, DOCX

How to Add Attachments to a Form

  1. Open the assigned form (via Forms, Map, or Data tab)

  2. Locate an Attachment Field (usually labeled Photos, Documents, or Notes)

  3. Click Upload or Drag & Drop your files

  4. For comments, enter text into the Comments field (if available)

  5. Repeat for additional files or notes

On mobile, you can capture photos or video directly using your camera
